ImpactSentinel system

ImpactSentinel System

The ImpactSentinel System is a real-time alarming and monitoring solution for the surveillance of mid to high energy dynamic barriers that protects infrastructure such as railways, roads and mining sites. This versatile system can be used in remote locations with extreme conditions as well as in busy public domains, using either solar panels or a fixed power supply.

  • MONITORING AND ALARMING SYSTEM
  • CAN BE OPERATED WITH SOLAR PANELS*
  • FOR HIGH-RISK AREAS OF NATURAL DISASTERS
  • SUITABLE FOR INFRASTRUCTURE SUCH AS RAILWAYS, ROADS, WORK SITES, POWER PLANTS, DAMS, MINING,…
  • INCLUDES PROJECT ASSESSMENT
System Setup

This setup consists of a base station as the primary hub, data relays to transmit messages over great distances (optional) and sensors. Solar panels can be used with the base station and data relays.

*Please note: Real-time alarming feature is only possible with a sufficient power supply.

Sensors

Sensors are outfitted and configured with a variety of triggers: pull-out-pin (force), tilt, acceleration and orientation

Each individual sensor has been quality tested to ensure robustness. They are also self-monitoring for HF-power, temperature and battery voltage.

All sensors are housed in a solid, compact aluminium cast which are sturdy and protects it from environmental factors. The sensors have a working temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.

Users Interface

The user has the choice of receiving information via SMS, E-mail, IP-address or System webpage.

Also, raw data from system can be used by the user’s analysis programs.

Alternatively, an interactive APP is available for easy access and monitoring.
